Is Wafflelog free to use?
Yes. Manual trip planning, organization, collaboration and expense tracking are included. Each verified account also receives one complimentary Trip Assistant planning session.
What happens after my complimentary planning session?
Additional planning sessions use one-off Trip Assistant Passes. One pass funds a new session and its included refinements. Purchased passes do not expire, and there is no monthly subscription.
What can I organize in a Wafflelog trip?
You can organize itinerary places, checklists, useful links, travel documents, images and shared expense records around the same trip.
Can my travel companions edit the trip too?
Yes. Invite your travel companions to the trip so everyone can contribute to the same shared plan and stay aligned as details change.
Can I use Wafflelog offline?
Yes. Trip information already synchronized to your device remains available offline. Updates from other travelers, and images or documents not previously downloaded, need a connection before they become available on that device.
How does the Trip Assistant work?
Tell the Trip Assistant where you are going, when you want to travel and what kind of experience you want. Review its researched draft, request changes and choose what becomes part of your trip.
How are shared expenses handled?
Record who paid and who was included in each expense. Wafflelog then shows the overall trip spend, your share and the balances between travelers.
Does Wafflelog convert different currencies?
No. Expenses stay separated by currency, so an exchange-rate assumption never changes what your group originally recorded.
